  • Tendered: Any contract which is competitively sourced.
  • Sole Source: A market-created situation whereby no competitive environment exists.
  • Emergency: An actual/imminent life-threatening situation or a disaster resulting in significant loss/damage to Crown Property.
  • Direct Award: A non-market created situation whereby Manitoba has imposed certain limitations to a competitive process.
  • Continuing Service Agreement: A third party delivers services on behalf of the Government of Manitoba, typically related to health, social services, or training. The procurement method may be competitive or non-competitive.
There are five categories under which government contracts are publicly reported.
